An anxiety disorder is a mental health condition characterized by fear and worry that is strong enough to disrupt a person’s normal functioning. From the scenario at the Department of Health and Human Services, it is evident that the person has an anxiety disorder that displays as a panic attack. Examples of physical signs of anxiety easily identifiable from the lady are as follows. First, she is sweating profusely, evident through her forehead. Secondly, the woman has muscle weakness because she cannot remain standing. Third, she is short of breath and has difficulty breathing. Fourth, she is unsteady and lies on the ground. Lastly, her heartbeat has increased, and she feels nauseous. The lady also displays behavioral symptoms, such as the fear of passing out. Additionally, the woman cannot control her worry and fear of impending danger. The struggle to speak is also an oral sign of anxiety.
