This paper serves to outline a plan that will be used in designing a four-hour Leadership Strategies Course for students specializing in visual, kinetic and auditory learning styles.
Learning Styles.
Learning styles do not only give the most proficient ways that people could use to obtain knowledge, but also influence their ability to acquire and comprehend the results of the learning objectives. Over time now, educators of nursing students embrace the responsibility of adopting one particular curriculum as a way of responding to the educational requirements of students with various learning styles. Although specific learning styles have come out to be more effective than others, having one huge incorporation of numerous educational designs in important in accommodating the similarly vast number of learning activities and enhancing education (Bahadori et al., 2017). Accordingly, this paper entails a four-hour Leadership Strategies designed for students taking visual, kinesthetic and auditory.
Course Objectives.
1 After taking the lecture, the experienced staff nurses in the healthcare industry will be able to discuss and identify fundamental competencies required for clinical and organizational leadership.
2 By the end of the course, the nurse practitioners and their educators will have the knowledge of effectively describing the obliged qualities and features related to working leadership strategies (Robertson, Smellie, Wilson & Cox, 2018).
3 After taking the lecture, the professional staff nurses will be able to provide essential opportunities required for obtaining skills that will be used to teach the art of active learning and thinking.
4 By the end of the course, the experienced staff nurses will not only be able to provide staff motivation but also conceptually explain the numerous threats to effective leadership as well as provide and implement effectual strategies to change.
Learner Objectives.
The learning objectives of the group of ten students of nursing where three of them are specializing visual, four of them specializing in kinesthetic and three of them in auditory. This segment elucidates four objectives of nurse graduate students in the context of enhancing the quality of leadership (Bahadori et al., 2017).
1 After learning the lecture, nurse graduate students will be able to identify the numerous strategies of improving leadership skills required for making the best decisions for finding solutions to problems.
2 By the end of the course, the students will have the knowledge required for describing the skills of active listening, body language and communication skills.
3 After taking the course, students will not only be able to establish significant professional skills obliged for one to become an active learner, but also demonstrate the skills required for one to embrace active thinking (Bahadori et al., 2017).
4 By the ends of the course, the nursing graduate students will be able to expand the understanding of the numerous professional skills required for passing the exams of the course.
