The decision to use an electronic format for any area of the medical office is a process that should be studied to great end to understand the pros and the cons to this process. The implementation of the electronic record system could have numerous advantages as well as numerous disadvantages. This process could go extremely smoothly, or it could go horribly wrong, or anywhere in between.
