The best traits affect productivity positively, while the worst traits are major learning lessons to understand what is needed to improve to be a successful leader in the future. Let us explore such leadership traits and how they impact productivity and engagement in workplaces. Best Traits of Leaders The best traits of a leader I have worked with include integrity, vision, self-awareness, and good communication skills. Integrity is important in leadership for organizations and individuals. The leader I worked with had strong moral principles and did the right thing for the good of the organization. Research has identified that leaders with integrity are a potential blind sport for organizations, demanding leaders reinforce the significance of honesty and integrity within their teams (McFadden, 2021). A good leader is visionary, inspiring others and garnering dedication within the team. Our leader ensured that the team members worked towards the same goal, helping us find meaning in work, which improved trust and engagement and drove priorities in our organizations. Self-awareness and humility are crucial traits among leaders. Our leader understood himself and acknowledged his strengths and weaknesses.
