The outer space industry continues to be congested with numerous technological advancement. Since 2011, the industry landscape has tremendously transformed. There are currently several Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) that execute multiple satellite space launch operations, beginning from the planning stage. United States' NAVSAR Global Positioning System remains to be a major player in the market, first initiated in 1973. The former Soviet Union launched Global'naya Navigatsionnaya Sputnikovaya Sistema (GLONASS) with full operation commencing in 1993 (Kemppi, 2007). The advent of the new millennium has welcomed several other players with new systems being launched in the outer space. The European Union is currently in the process of developing and launching the Galileo positioning system. China has shown plans of completing development and launch of the second generation BeiDou Navigation Satellite Systems. The Indian Space and Research Organization developed NAVIgation with Indian Constellation (NAVIC), entirely managed by the government of India.
