In this assignment, you will develop an audiovisual presentation of at least 5 minutes based on your Modules 4, 5, and 8 assignments and share it with your online peers. Your presentation will relate whole-group instructional strategies to the qualitative action research findings you gleaned from your interview.
Step 1. Design
Using one of the tools linked on the Learning Objects page, or another one of your choosing, design an audiovisual presentation for diverse audiences to share your action research from Modules 4, 5, and 8. (Your presentation should not be a slide presentation.)
Step 2. Reflect
Reflect on the nine strategies most frequently incorporated in exemplary, culturally relevant curriculum. Based on the action research you conducted in Modules 4, 5, and 8, determine which strategy is most relevant.
Step 3. Organize
Organize your presentation into the following segments: Purpose, Problem, Research Questions, Methodology (no name or personal identifying information for your Module 8 interviewee), Data Analysis, Conclusion, and References.

Purpose
When it comes to establishing classroom management strategies for a rigorous and appropriate curriculum, cultural competence remains a critical consideration. Through cultural competence strategies, instructors learn to integrate culturally sensitive aspects into teaching methods and content to create a more diverse learning setting. With cultural competence identified as a critical strategy, our qualitative action research study intended to find out the benefits of culturally appropriate teaching methodologies necessary for improving students’ attention levels and learning achievements, especially in a diverse learning environment.
