From the course titled Body as Weapon: Martial Arts/Combat Training, I have learned a significant number of things. First of all, martial arts are a codified system that involves practices related to self-defense, and physical, spiritual and mental development. It can also be regarded as a way to preserve the cultural heritage of a nation. Secondly, human development is all about giving people the freedom to live their lives according to their desires, values or expectations. In developed countries, both men and women are given equal opportunities and easy access to jobs, but in underdeveloped states, educating girls is considered bad.
