Integrated lessons allow students to make new and meaningful connections.
In this assignment, you will adapt your Module 3 lesson to create an integrated curriculum which combines two or more curricula from different subject areas.
Step 1. Combine
Combine a research-based lesson plan on a distinct subject-matter concept or objective with your Module 3 literacy lesson plan.
Step 2. Assess
Assess the integrated lesson plan sections to consider their applicability to online learning and multiple categories of learning preferences. Modify the integrated lesson plan as needed to accomplish these goals.
Step 3. Evaluate
Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of this integrated lesson using the ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation) framework. In your evaluation, and dually focus on complying with state standards while still addressing students’ sociocultural needs.
Step 4. Reflect
Reflect on the process of integration and sociocultural sensitivity in a presentation of at least 8 slides (not including title and reference slides) suitable for new teacher professional development. Include a title slide, evidence of your work from Steps 1-3, and an APA-formatted references slide.
I will take care to create the slides

Synthesizing Components of an Effective Literacy Lesson Plan for Diverse Learners
Introduction
Interdisciplinary teaching and learning are among the most recommended teaching strategies educators normally cultivate during diverse learning to foster quality attainment and classroom performance (ISCAP, 2016). Diverse learners usually have different learning patterns, education engagement behaviors, cognitive abilities, and interests, which educators should be aware of when designing lesson plans and strategies. This will help ensure the needs of diverse immigrant learners are well addressed, thereby promoting quality attainment and performance among these students. Educators can impart educational skills and knowledge through interdisciplinary unit learning approaches and plans. This lesson approach allows students to discover and explore different pedagogical learning mechanisms that enhance curricular attainment (Campbell & Filimon, 2018). Notably, applying this approach in STEM subjects' learning and writing curriculum allows learners to express their perceptions qualitatively through research and discussion, thus promoting quality education engagement.
Interdisciplinary unit lesson plans
With different individuals having varying perceptions on this issue, educators can employ an interdisciplinary learning approach to foster holistic learning and attainment of this science subject (DeFur & Runnells, 2014). This will allow all students from different demographical backgrounds to contribute to the unit and class projects, thus enhancing quality engagement. Combining curricula from different subject areas offers rich opportunities for interdisciplinary learning thus catering to the needs and interests of diverse learners. Integrating STEM and language arts curricula, especially on critical topics such as climate change and environmentalism, creates engaging and comprehensive learning for diverse learners (DeFur & Runnells, 2014). To facilitate quality exploration and discussion of a critical subject matter such as exploring and evaluating the impacts of global warming and climate sustainability, educators must have a robust lesson plan. Ideally, the thing with integrating STEM with art in the lesson plan is to foster scientific exploration and inquiry among diverse learners. Teachers foster scientific exploration, by ensuring that diverse learners take part in kinesthetic learning experiences to understand the science of climate change and its effects on ecosystems. Besides the conventional concepts and lessons on the greenhouse effect, global warming, and weather patterns, the hands-on experiments and activities are critical. for illustrations, the learners could be taught how to recreate the greenhouse effect using heat lamps and containers and see what temperature changes they could measure, or they could imitate the effects of deforestation on local ecosystems using interactive dioramas. Through physical exploration and experimentation, students not only experience the principles in action but also get to know the scientific concepts of climate change more deeply. Besides scientific exploration, literary analysis is also crucial in teaching learners about the identified subject matter concept. As a teacher, there is a need to include kinesthetic learning in the exploration of the literary themes of climate change and environmentalism.
More so, writing assignments are also a major component of the lesson plan. Through writing assignments, teachers motivate diverse learners to show their understanding of the subject often through writing. In addition to traditional writing methods such as persuasive essays, creative writing, and research papers, teachers can provide opportunities for kinesthetic expression through activities such as kinesthetic persuasion, movement-based storytelling, and interactive research exhibits. With interactive research exhibits, for example, learners are taught how to create interactive exhibits or installations that consist of scientific data, literary analysis, and multimedia elements where they educate and motivate viewers about environmental issues.
Further, integrating writing evaluation tests and activities in the lesson plan will also help grade students' attainment and understanding of this science subject. Conversely, educators should ensure that after watching the video and writing coursework lesson plan activities, all students participate in a written assessment activity during the learning sessions and as homework (Campbell & Filimon, 2018). By grading the students, educators will identify the areas that need more focus to foster holistic learning and attainment. This will also help diverse students improve their homework and class engagement behaviors to improve educational attainment among multicultural learners.
Overall, incorporating this interdisciplinary learning method will ensure all students are engaged in learning and evaluating the unit (ISCAP, 2016). Furthermore, this interdisciplinary teaching strategy will ensure educators focus on cognitive evaluation and planning among diverse learners, promoting quality classroom engagement (ISCAP, 2016). Indeed, this approach...
