Teachers need assessments to judge students' understanding and progress. However, culturally and linguistically diverse (CLD) and disabled students must be recognized. Assessing all students requires first learning who they are. CLD kids may have various language and cultural demands; therefore, consider them. The Language Lady. (2019) offers ten assessment accommodations for English Language Learners (ELL). These adjustments include word banks, simplified language, response flexibility, and more time. These modifications recognize that language limitations can hinder ELL students and assist in leveling the playing field.
