In most instances, presenters often try to imitate their professors or the best presenters that they have come across. However, Mathew’s unique style outlines his attitude, character, and personality and it is easy to notice that he is interested in what he is saying. Imitation often makes people sound the same, but Mathew seems relaxed and sure of what he is saying. The second thing that one notices is the fact that he avoids using textbook definitions and redefines the terms and keywords in his presentation. Using textbook definitions and explanations depicts one’s unpreparedness or shallow research and at times a lack of comprehension of the topic.
