Training Session Analysis
The delivery of the training session went on well as planned. Trainees were very collaborative since they were eager to understand how to use the customer relationship management (CRM) system optimally. They were receptive in the sense that they listened keenly and asked relevant questions. For sure, the trainer realized that employees were motivated to master the application of CRM in undertaking their daily activities. Some trainees said that they had never interacted with such a system before, which was why they did not find it useful and effective in accomplishing their routine tasks. At the end of the training session, the majority of workers gave positive feedback and admitted that they will use the CRM system optimally.
Specifically, learners met the established training objectives. The primary purpose of the training was to ensure that they acquired relevant knowledge and skills in using the CRM system. Notably, the trainer was culturally intelligent, learner-centered, well-organized, empathetic, professional, credible, articulate, warm, flexible, honest, a good listener, and had a positive attitude (Lawson, 2015). Learners found the trainer relatable, cooperative, and warm, making them ask questions whenever they did not understand something. Since the trainer was more of a facilitator, the person addressed learners’ questions to ensure that no one was left behind.
By running the training session, I realized that listening carefully to the learners helps the trainer to understand the source of the problem. In that light, the trainer should not be completely hooked up with the things he or she has prepared to present. Instead, the individual should be flexible.
