Hello everyone. Thank you for joining me today as we discuss how modern technology has revolutionized communications. Since the world started to invest in modern technology advancements, these advancements have played a major role in improving communication. However, despite this transformation, some people are still hesitant to employ it due to the fear of the negative impact that it is likely to cause. I am privileged to discuss how modern technology has revolutionized communication to eliminate the fear that most people are having.
One outstanding transformation modern technology has brought in communication is improving security. When people communicate, they usually worry about leaking their data since data is one of the most valuable resources when it falls into the wrong hands. This has been one of the main reasons companies keep their sensitive data from leaking to the general public. Modern technology has played a major role in improving security. For example, technology has introduced encryption for communication. The following feature helps the message be read only by the sender and the receiver since they have the decryption key. This process has helped reduce the risks of emails being hacked since, even after hacking, the hackers could fail to understand the information without the decryption key, making the data transfer more secure.
Modern technology has also helped to gain mass outreach. Before technology was implemented, only a small group could be reached since people could only have one-on-one conversations. Therefore, this process delayed the time that information could reach many people. Technology has helped to connect the world through different platforms. For example, there are platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet, which help to connect people from all over the world.
