This sample strategic plan is an example of what your completed strategic case analysis should look like at the end of the course. To complete the assignment deliverable, you will be following the directions and steps listed below. These steps are provided to assist you in delivering appropriately complete work. Note: Be sure that the matrices are completed by the 5th day of the topic, so that you have time to complete your individual analysis of the matrices. Complete the following three parts with your CLC group: Part I: SWOT Matrix Construct a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) matrix by doing the following: Step 1: Follow guidelines provided in Chapter 6 of Strategic Management: A Competitive Advantage Approach, Concepts, and Cases to learn how to complete a SWOT matrix. Use your Strategic-Planning Template to develop a SWOT matrix for your company. Step 2: Include two strategies in each of the four (SO, ST, WT, WO) quadrants. Be specific regarding your strategies, avoiding generic terms such as forward integration. Include notation (e.g. S4, T3) at the end of each strategy. Utilize the research you have completed on your selected case to date, including the company's most recent quarterly report as given at the corporate website. Part II: BCG Matrix Construct a Growth Market Share (BCG) Matrix by doing the following: Step 1: Follow guidelines provided in Chapter 6 of Strategic Management: A Competitive Advantage Approach, Concepts, and Cases to learn how to create a BCG Matrix. Step 2: Use your Strategic-Planning Template to develop a BCG Matrix for your company. Use your selected company’s most recent year-end financial data, and other information acquired earlier to assist you. Step 3: Fill in the left Division column of the table with your selected company’s divisions/segments (or whatever terminology applies to your particular company/industry). See an example of Coca-Cola in Chapter 1 of the textbook, and review Table 10.2 in the Colgate-Palmolive case. Utilize the research you have completed on your selected company to date and find information to fill in all the cells in your data table from Chapter 1. Part III: IE Matrix Construct an internal-external (IE) matrix by doing the following: Step 1: Follow the guidelines provided in Chapter 6 of Strategic Management: A Competitive Advantage Approach, Concepts, and Cases to learn how to create an IE matrix. Specifically, use the information and instructions in LO 6-6, Figures 6-10, 6-11, and 6-12 to assist you. Step 2: Use your strategic planning template to develop an IE matrix for your company. Deliverables Part I: Submit the SWOT Matrix. Part II: Submit the BCG Matrix. Part III: Submit the IE Matrix. Additional Information for the Deliverable(s) Submit the Strategic Planning Template with the completed matrices to the digital classroom. All analysis in the paper should be substantiated with a minimum of five relevant and credible sources in support of your content.
