Independence National Historical Park Author Name Institution Affiliation Situated in Philadelphia, Independence National Historical Park is one of those very few parks of the United States that have preserved a number of sites associated with the founding history of the nation as well as with the American Revolution. The previous month, I got a chance to go to Philadelphia along with a number of friends. During our stay there, we decided to spend some hours in Independence National Historical Park. I could see that some of the finest green spaces and over twenty landmark buildings with their ties to the foundation of America were present in this park. When we went there, we observed that spending a few hours of the day would not be enough. So my friends and I decided to spend the whole day there, exploring the impressive collections of museums, parks, and buildings of the Independence National Historical Park. There are a large number of Americans who do not even know when independence was declared. While walking in the Independence National Historical Park along with my friends, I felt that I was walking in the footsteps of America’s presidents. By the whole, the environment of this park was quite relaxing, and I could browse displays of antique artifacts.
