Not so many people were in the store. There were between one and four customers in the checkout for the entire time I was there.

How many items did you purchase? I have a basket full of items including fruits and vegetables, meat products and cheese.
General Shopping Information:
On Saturday, January 19, 2019, I visited Whole Foods Market in East Lancing as a mystery shopper on a mission to evaluate the shopping experience of customers, the overall quality of products and services. Upon entering the store, I noticed that it was not as crowded as other Whole Foods Market stores I have visited previously. I could see quite a number of store staff manning the floor. However, I was not greeted by any of the staff when I entered the store. Baskets carts were strategically located and readily available for the customers entering the store. I picked a shopping basket ready for the shopping experience.
The store had quite a number of staff on the floor at every section. The salespeople in different aisles were visible, friendly and willing to help. I typically like browsing on my own as I see various new products. I, however, received great assistance while shopping. The salespeople were present at different sections in the store offering to assist shoppers. I was even assisted in getting the cheese and also provided some samples by the staff. I saw various new products in multiple sections that I would never have considered purchasing by myself. I enquired for recommendations, and the sales personnel were more than willing to assist. They answered all my questions including offering suggestions to all my queries. They appeared to know more about different products when asked to the point of providing suggestions which were very helpful in deciding between various substitute products.
The store is well organized making customer navigation easy and seamless. My shopping experience was excellent with well-stocked shelves offering a variety to choose from. Support from salespeople at the floor made shopping easy and convenient. Signs were marked clearly and visible to all customers at all angles making shopping easy. Some items were on promotion (such as buy one, get one free) while the store offered free samples to customers for other products.
