According to the chart that is indicative of the COSIS maintenance, the contractors have a lot saving to make from indoor storage. The chart makes this projection between the financial years; 2012 and 2016. The full COSIS is going to be realized fully come the financial year 2016. It's also the time that full COSIS can be done for the financial periods beyond 2016. On the x axis is the financial years and the left y axis shows the millions in cost. On the right y axis is the number of contractors. From the chart it is clear that, with the storage done outdoors the number of contractors also decreases. During the period between 2012 and 2016, the number of contractors decreases from 820 to 417. At the same time, the amount of money that is spent on the contractors also decreased.
Both ABCT and IBCT have progressively reduced costs of storage maintenance. According to the chart, from the financial year 2012, the cost of storage maintenance drops from $80 to 180 million dollars to roughly $30 to 60 dollars.
