For this assignment, you will examine the leadership at your workplace. (If not currently employed, you may choose a former employer.) Through direct observation and analysis of communications, you will determine how the leadership influences the organization’s corporate responsibility (CSR) practices. For example, does leadership encourage and offer paid time for employees to volunteer at a local nonprofit? Does leadership participate in community engagement?

Summary
Working in a learning institution has revealed that such organizations must maintain their corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices similar to other companies. Park and Xiao (2022) indicate that CSR activities are more than contributions by an institution because they double as strategic aspects fundamental for sustainable growth. As a result, every establishment with a developmental vision should value integrating this concept and continuously improving it for its benefit and those of other parties. Openstax (2019) recognizes leadership within such outfits as critical to achieving CSR needs. Moreover, analysis of communications, observations, and interviews has disclosed the diverse contributions of diverse leaders in a learning facility toward similar outcomes. Thus, this paper discusses the communication, decision-making, and engagement approaches leaders use to influence CSR practices in an educational setting.
The findings arising from the assessment of the various leadership contributions to CSR in the workplace reveal that they value dynamic and diversified communication to maintain a healthy relationship with different stakeholders. For instance, leaders emphasize continuous and timely updates to society, partners, faculty members, and educators about environmental or social events organized by the learning institution (See Figure 1).
