When entering preschool, young children posses a sense of wonder and love to learn. These children have an insatiable will to learn especially if the learning experiences are engaging and enjoyable. In this paper I will discuss several interactions between the teacher and the children and sort them out into the ones that have a positive impact and the ones that require improvement.
I am at a preschool observing the interactions between the teacher and the children. Some of interactions include: playing number rymes, finger-plays, modeling, coloring, bullying, racism, favourism, use of vulgar language, reciting bible verses and child punishment.
