He claims that storytelling could be used in the marketing communication strategy and that every successful campaign stems from a simple story of people that a marketer wants readers to buy into (Godin, 2012). According to Godin, the best marketers act according to values, beliefs, and biases known by target markets. When thinking through Godin's ideas, I realized that everything I do is tainted by my values, beliefs, and biases, from what I buy to what I tell my friends and family to purchase.
