Description of Activity:

You have been asked by the Director of Sales to give a short summary report and presentation to the executive team during the kick-off business meeting for the new fiscal year's operations. You will need to produce both a one-page executive summary report for distribution and a short slide show for your discussion portion of that meeting. You only have 10 minutes on the agenda, so you report needs to be concise and the slide set brief and informative for the group. Specific points you've been asked to address include the following:

Total sales by quarter as follows:?

Total sales (all products)?

Sales subtotals by each of the eight (8) major categories (Beverages, Condiments, Confections, Dairy Products, Grains/Cereals, Meat/Poultry, Produce, Seafood)?

Which product generated the highest sales in each of the four quarters of this past year?

Which two categories produced the lowest sales volumes overall?

Once you have answered all the questions you need to develop the identified reports (Executive Summary and Presentation Slide Set). The executive report should be nicely organized and clearly communicate the required information. The accompanying slide set should also be concise, clean, and informative. The executive should be organized as a Microsoft Word document (PDF is also acceptable) and the slide set either as a native Powerpoint slide set or exported PDF that was developed using a similar presentation tool.

-----------------In addition to these two artifacts, you should also update the workbook to be attached as supporting material to your work. The final version you submit should be organized as a Spreadsheet Table and include a summary row that can be used for generating the calculations that you derived. In addition, the format of your resulting table should include the application of one of the available Table Designs in whatever tool you used.

The updated workbook should also include calculations that clearly reflect how you computed the values to the challenge questions presented in the HR memo.
