Try testing yourself on the Stroop Task and keep a record of your Reaction Time for each Condition!

Remember to just report the color of the font, without "reading" the words.

In your response entry, (1) put in your Reaction Times for each of the congruent vs. incongruent color/word conditions ("normal" vs. "interference") that you tried, and (2) try to describe why one of them was harder and why it took longer than the other.

This test examines how quickly people respond to changes in their system. I had a reaction time of almost 10 seconds in the first test, just reading the colors appearing on the test window. For example, I played a red but saw a green color pop up to describe the color I played with. In the second test, I played with green and saw a blue color popping up to correct the errors, but this time I recognized in a slightly quicker time of five seconds. I guess I was keener enough to realize the changes.
