Risk assessment can be in different scales that have a different level of supervisory energy required. According to Viglione and Taxman (2018), the risk prediction scale can be divided into four main scales that require different supervision efforts. First, the low-risk scale. The type of criminal is released with minimal impact, and it requires shallow supervisory energy. In some cases, the person might not require any amount of monitoring. The other scale is the moderate risk. The type of prediction scale comes with the reasonable condition that they are bound to appear.
