Throughout this course, you will create a multimedia presentation on an area, issue, or topic in eLearning. The final product is a multimedia presentation reflecting concepts, relationships, and analysis of your chosen eLearning area, issue, or topic. In each module, you will be given specific milestones to help you stay on track for completing the Course Project. Your Instructor will place you in a Learning Community by Day 7 of Week 2. During the course you will be providing and receiving feedback on your Course Project from the members of your learning community. Each Learning Community will have a discussion area for conversations, questions, postings, and feedback. To prepare: Peruse one or more conference programs from recent eLearning, distance education, or your professional conferences (for example, Annual Conference on Distance Teaching & Learning, Online Learning Consortium conferences, DevLearn, Learning Solutions, and others). As you browse through the conference programs, determine which eLearning topics or themes are the most interesting to you. Choose a topic that you want to explore for your Course Project that is related to your workplace. Then, select one theme related to distance education/eLearning and read at least one scholarly article on that topic. Write a 1-page paper in which you: Identify your topic Summarize at least one scholarly article you have read on the topic Justify your selection of this topic by explaining how it relates to your workplace Post your topic in your Learning Community discussion area by Day 7 of Week 2 (ungraded in this module).
