Since the start of the semester, my ideas about communication have changed considerably. Before starting the course, I never appreciated that communication was a serious discipline that needed to be studied. For instance, I never know that communicators undertake extensive research before communicating anything to the public. Now, I understand the need to engage in extensive research to communicate something authentic.
