The aim of the study was to assess the effect of two tube voltages on clinicians’ ability to diagnose approximal carious lesions in digital radiographs. Inclusion criteria included teeth with approximal caries / carious lesions where 100 human teeth were chosen. Exclusion criteria included teeth without approximal caries and Seven observers rated the approximal caries.100 human teeth (40 premolars and 60 molars) chosen from a large sample of extracted teeth and considering the approximal surfaces half of the chosen teeth were intact while others had small carious lesions in different sizes.
