Emphasis on the Beauty and Authenticity of the Objects
Your research paper should reflect the result of your research on your chosen object/subject. You have to present a complete overview of your chosen subject/object, informed by your argument/thesis/focus. It is sometimes useful to imagine this kind of paper as a presentation of all the facts related to a thesis to a reader or an observer who doesn't know much about your object, the context around it or its importance to a particular concern or movement. Imagine that you are trying to convince said reader/observer of the importance/appeal of your chosen object by providing them with a focused overview of one or more of its contextual details.
Note that: This paper should not be just a summary of sources and your research; it should present the result of that research in a clear and interesting argument or thesis. If you are confused about the difference between the two, consider this example:
"Canada is a large country with a diverse population spread across its expanse." VERSUS: "Canada's openness to and acceptance of diversity has created its unique multinational identity, represented by the diversity of the population, spread across its vast geographical expanse."
The facts expressed in those sentences are comparable; however, the second sentence expresses a clear opinion along with its presentation of facts whereas the first sentence does not. You can present your facts to/and express an opinion.
Be careful with your spelling, sentence structure, paragraph structure and grammar. Edit and edit again to make sure simple mistakes haven't escaped your attention. Be confident in your informed opinion and express that thesis or argument clearly and early on in your paper to set the expectations of your reader. If you are making comparisons to clarify or prove your point(s), make sure to include high-resolution images of your comparative material.
Pay attention to citations and sources: use scholarly ones only! Refrain from using Wikipedia, encyclopedias and dictionaries. Stay away from news channels for the most part. Stay (mostly) clear of (most) newspapers. The gold standard of academic sources is represented in peer-reviewed journals and books from reputable publishing houses and universities. Limit your sources to those as much as possible.
