Due to advanced technology, mental health and social media are two elements adequately interconnected. Henzel and Håkansson (2021) found that social media use is common among young people between 16 and 39 years. The article also justifies a positive correlation between social media and mental issues. The major problem of constant social media exposure is mental distress, and it also leads to specific issues such as behavioral addiction, thus affecting the social life of different populations.
