My name is Garry Smith and I am one of the I.T managers at the John Hopkins hospital. I offer services that include maintaining the hospital servers used in record keeping. Interviewer: I understand that implementing technology in the maintenance of healthcare records has been difficult in the recent past. Would you elaborate on that? Garry Smith: Indeed it has been difficult in the past few years. Most physicians are worried that these systems will render them obsolete in the near future (Beard, Schein, Morra, Wilson, & Keelan, 2011).
