LGBTQIA issue has been one of the most popular topics recently. LGBTQIA is an acronym for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer/questioning, or asexual. One of the reasons prompting this trend has been that despite some people coming out to explain what they identify with, society has struggled to incorporate these people because they mainly view them as outsiders. This process has made some people who identify differently fail to come out due to the fear of stigma. Furthermore, since students and teachers come from society, some still believe that LGBTQIA individuals should not be tolerated in schools. Furthermore, there have been instances where these individuals are being discriminated against, or some individuals fail to respect their gender identity. This discrimination has made these individuals fail to enjoy their time in school. Since there should be equality in schools, it is important to understand the LGBTQIA community in integrating them into schools. Since the LGBTQIA community has been discriminated against in most schools, the government should create laws to protect this marginalized group.
After understanding that the issue is a challenge regarding the LGBTQIA community in schools, it is critical to understand why it is critical. One of the reasons it is critical to understand it is that even though some people are behaving the LGBTQIA community behave as if it does not exist, the truth is that some people still identify as the LGBTQIA community. Similar to other groups, the LGBTQIA community is minor in schools. This assumption has made some institutions not avail of the necessary services which could help to care for the unique needs of LGBTQIA individuals. This trend has caused these individuals to suffer only because of their gender identification. Even though have embraced it to some degree, they have not yet fully embraced it. This trend has caused most individuals within this community to continue to suffer a condition that could negatively affect their performance.
Furthermore, there have been other instances where individuals have spread false information regarding the transgender community. For example, some people believe that Trans individuals will likely influence others to be like them. This reason has prompted most students to seclude themselves from transgender people. The various false information has therefore increased the rate of homophobia where some students have negative attitudes regarding homosexuality in general and the individuals identifying themselves or being perceived as lesbian, gay, or bisexual. Due to this perception, the students identifying themselves as transgender have been experiencing feelings of loneliness since even some of the students have neglected them. This condition could harm their life, such as mental and health impacts.
Since many myths around this issue exist, it is critical to check the experts' perspective. The main reason for checking what the scientists are saying regarding the issue is because their stand is based on facts rather than mere assumptions among the people. Furthermore, understanding the experts' stand could help individuals in the educational sector, such as teachers and other students, to incorporate the best solution based on facts. For example, biologists have highlighted that homosexual behavior is usually a biological phenomenon in most non-human animals. For example, there have been one sheep species that have formed lasting preferences for same-sex partners. This understanding could transform how other individuals view the LGBTQIA community as a sign of defiance but as a result of biological feelings.
Furthermore, the biologists have also highlighted other instances where animals have displayed bisexual behavior where they have interacted with the same and opposite sex. Furthermore, this research highlights that sex hormones had an impact in influencing the development of varying gender features between straight and gay people. This research has therefore highlighted that there is variation in brain organization among straight and gay people where the birth order is also likely to influence the individuals' sexual orientation. The biologists have also highlighted that there is a difference between sexual orientation and gender identity. For instance, they have highlighted gender identity as how people perceive and call themselves, while sexual orientation is the immutable or inherent romantic, emotional, or sexual orientation of other individuals.
The following research is looking forward to answering some questions. One of the questions is, what are the main causes of gender fluidity? The next question is the government's perspective regarding the LGBTQIA group. The paper will also analyze w...
