The issue linked to the pharmaceutical distribution approach makes one question the issue of regulations and poses a threat to patient safety. I recommend that the quality risk manager implement a wide range of prescription management systems to tackle the quality risk problem. I suggest beginning with a detailed evaluation of the current system concerning medication administration, documentation, and storage of the medications. This will promote the creation of targeted interventions and spot improvement points (ten Haken et al., 2024). I will work closely with the quality risk manager to develop and implement mandatory training for all staff responsible for medicated patient care. This training will cover all personnel involved in patient care. Considering the need to comply with best practices and legal requirements, we will emphasize the importance of accurate documentation and appropriate storage and destruction procedures in this course.
