Malignant Neoplasm in Children’s Right Cerebellum

Disorder: Malignant Neoplasm of the Right Cerebellum (In Children)   Nursing Diagnosis: (2)

1. Impaired physical mobility connected to cerebellum tumor and intermediate surgical intervention.
2. Acute pain due to tumor pressure and surgical incision on surrounding brain tissues.

Goals: (4) (1 STG and 1 LTG for EACH Nursing Diagnosis) For diagnosis 1 (Short-term goal): Within 24 hours of admission, the child will demonstrate improved physical mobility. Long-term goal: By the period of discharge, the child would move or ambulate with little assistance and have enhanced coordination.  For Diagnosis 2 (Short-term goal): With proper pain interventions, the pain would lower after post-surgery Long-term goal: The pain will consistently lower with appropriate pain management.
