I've been a nurse for twenty plus years as a LPN and received my RN license in June 2023. Over the years, I’ve worked in many facets as a LPN. I currently work in home health and agency work. As a result of working with myriad nursing agencies, I have been able to experience many different areas of nursing, including PICU, pediatrics, med surge, geriatrics, and oncology. I’m also an aesthetician and have owned a private business for the past two decades. My love for health care and knowing this is how I would like to spend my remaining work years has steadied my professional compass and resulted in my furthering my education in the nursing profession. My plan after receiving my BSN is to transition directly into a PMHNP program. I’m eager to see my goals come to fruition and happy to be in my final semester for my BSN degree!
