An abstract is a concise summary description of a paper. It also indicates what the purpose of your paper aims to achieve. This purpose statement should reflect the research question you aim to answer. Abstracts should appear on its own page with the word "Abstract" in bold font centered at the top of the page. Additionally, the abstract should be one paragraph, with no indent.
**Since the Abstract assignment is straight forward, there is no Assignment Guidelines document accompanying this assignment. If there are any questions, please refer to the APA 7th edition manual or the Purdue OWL website for guidance on writing an abstract. The weblink for formatting and abstract writing is listed below:

Submission Guidelines:
Submit your one-page Abstract to this assignment dropbox. The abstract must be submitted to SafeAssign and meet the 10% or less of non-original work. No cover page, running head or reference page is required for the Abstract assignment.
**Once the Abstract meets this requirement, it does not need to be resubmitted to SafeAssign for a similarity report with the final research paper submission.
SafeAssign:
Plagiarism is the improper use of another person's writing or ideas. It can be as subtle as the inadvertent omission of quotes or proper references when citing a source or as blatant as knowingly copying an entire paper verbatim and claiming it as your own original work.
