The world right now is experiencing lots of problems. These include political unrest, uncontrolled populations growth, diminishing of the economic resources, debts and even racism which has seen a lot of people with potential and ability to do some certain jobs miss on those opportunities due to their skin color. However, development in terms of technology has helped in dealing with some of these problems. Technology has helped in monitoring the country and its resources to enhance productivity and also enable optimum utilization of the available resources to sustain the world population that is rapidly growing. However, some problems remain deadly and has pushed the world on edge. These are the problems that have been brought about by the advancement in technology and industrialization. These two happen to be the road map guiding the existence of human beings. Every state and country allover is trying to industrialize in order to create jobs and also take advantage of the latest technology. This, however, has resulted into increased cybersecurity threats, food shortage and infectious diseases.
Cybersecurity
This is a very delicate area at the point of human existence. Right now, almost every business uses technology as a supporting environment. Big companies and multinationals maintain databases with information about contractors, debtors, employees and new markets. When this information is accessed with unauthorized personnel, the information can cripple the business operations as the data can be used by the competitors to counter the organizations plans, the employees’ personal details will be exposed leaving them vulnerable to attacks and robberies, and the investors will lose trust with the company. For this reasons, there is need to ensure that there is security for systems and that no one can access unauthorized information and also to ensure there are no electronic attacks on the systems.
This problem however remains to be an unsolved mystery as with every new technologies, attackers are out ready to use it for malicious intents. For the world to deal with this effectively, the world should adopt a system where any cyber criminal is arrested and is tried according to the laws to be decided and actually having a legal action taken against these persons. This is expected to scare away individuals with malicious intent and also make electronic environments safe for investors and businesses allover the world.
