Survey Design: Behavioral Research Informed Consent
For this part of the assignment, you will be utilizing a survey design. Ensure that for the Likert questions to use the appropriate scales provided in the textbook. Demonstration of the recommendations and techniques described in Chapter 8 are crucial to this assignment. If you are using existing surveys you need to cite the sources and explain any alterations made. In the survey, you need to include, at minimum:
Ten scale items that will serve as a composite measure
Four demographic/population questions
One open-ended question
Prior to administering the survey, you must have the participant review and sign the attached informed consent document.
If there needs to be instructions or explanations for your participants those must be included too.
Post Script:
After turning in the survey, students should use Microsoft Forms to create the survey to send out. Forms is in your Microsoft office applications. Forms can be accessed through www(dot)office(dot)com by logging in with your GCU credentials. Make sure to make the survey available to anyone with the link, the default only makes it available to people within the GCU organization. Second, create an SPSS file using your survey to fill out the variable section. Remember to properly save it and verify it is on your computer.
After receiving feedback and making any necessary changes to your survey, you will need to send it out using your chosen sampling technique. At minimum, you will need 40 participants.
Once you have collected a minimum of 40 participants, you begin analyzing your data in SPSS.
