           Social media is one of the fields in digital media that has significantly influenced the lives of people globally. The field is comprised of online platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Snap chat and allows users to share and interact with each other about a particular subject. These platforms have also enabled business growth through brand awareness and marketing campaigns conducted by social media influencers. As social media continues to become a critical part of many people’s lives, so are marketing techniques trying to adapt to the changing trends through boosting posts and embracing paid advertisements. In addition to these techniques, influencer marketing has emerged to harness the strength of social media influencers in marketing goods and services using social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. The following is an interview script with a professional social media influencer covering the nature of the profession, opportunities and challenges, and future trends. 
Interviewer: Hi, my name is [Interviewer], and thanks for having time for this interview. While I will try to be brief, I would kindly request a bit of information about the nature of your profession/career, and the motivations to become a social media influencer.
Influencer: Uh! Thanks for having me too. Sure, influencer marketing and social marketing influencers are now becoming buzzwords and standard ways of marketing in today’s digital era. Social media influencers are largely involved in creating digital content that attracts a large social media following. The professionals in this field create high-quality online content to entertain, educate, or encourage their following, and thus engage with their fans through various platforms through text, images, and videos. For instance, I constantly create posts and communicate with my following to spark dialogue, generate interaction, and set trends among my fans. Occasionally, I can collaborate with businesses and brands to advertise their offerings of goods and services. In terms of influencer tier, I can classify myself as a mid-tier influencer but I look forward to becoming a macro- or mega-influencer. Next…
