Executive Summary
This particular technical report mainly explores the importance of using drones in the communication and media sector. Through extensive research using diverse expert interviews and online sources, we have found that the usage of drones has positively impacted the media industry in various ways. Some of the positive impacts highlighted include producing high-quality videos and less time and resources spent, unlike before, when pilots and helicopters were to be hired. Additionally, drones are flexible and less stressful than the rest, mainly covering a crowded or insecure places.

Introduction
Recently, there have been increased cases of journalists being abused and delaying information across most information headquarters. Moreover, the transmission of first complex information and recording of the data, especially in those insecure areas, have been a problem. Such cases have led to the need for a more integrated and comprehensive system to curb insecurity issues and record everything faster with ease. Using drones as one of the advanced technologies has significantly played a significant role in promoting media and other communication matters across the sector. This technical report typically researches the usage of drones has facilitated the growth and development of the media and communication industry.
2.0 Research Methodology
Before analyzing and discussing any research methodology from a broader perspective, it is crucial to highlight that this approach involved blending two methods: interviewing experts and online research. This approach usually permitted us to gather more information from practical and academic viewpoints. This is essential since it ensures that the findings obtained from these sources are factual and grounded in theory and the natural universe. The blending of these two gives better insights and understanding of how the usage of drones has contributed to a vast milestone in the communication and media industry.
2.1 Online Research
Extensive research was conducted using two diverse methods; online sources, including academic journals and websites. Some keywords used during the research process include " usage of drones in the media" and "the importance of drones in the communication and media industry." Moreover, other online sources, including online databases such as Google Scholar, were used to get all those relevant reports.
2.2 Expert Interviews
Moreover, other than using online research, some interviews mainly involved experts in the Aviation field and aerial surveillance in getting more insight into drone usage and how it improved people's lives, especially those in the field of media and communication (Milligan, 2019). In addition, more contacts were made to media houses and security agencies with experience implementing drones for media coverage in journalism. Some of the obvious questions were to highlight the benefits and challenges of using drones in media coverage. Other essential questions asked include preferred recommendations for future use or considerations.
3.0 Findings
After conducting extensive research using diverse online resources and expert interviews, we found out that the usage of drones has brought a lot of significance, unlike before. Before, journalists were struggling to capture information in insecure places such as wars. Moreover, before introducing drones, covering any scene took too long. It was expensive to handle since it required a lot of resources, including much time to concentrate on a single video. Especially where aerial footage is needed, it was one of the most expensive, and most media houses could not afford to hire a pilot and helicopter.
