The most important experience that helps one to develop a sense of self is meditating while wearing clothes made of kasaya. In particular, kasaya is silk and metallic foil-wrapped thread that supplements weft patterning on silk ground (Project 1, 2022). Based on Buddha’s teaching, meditation helps an individual to free the mind and overcome various stresses of life. Besides, stress is inevitable in life, and the only way to cope with it is by accepting what happens or things that are beyond a person’s control. However, not all things are easy to forget or let go of since some have far-reaching consequences and affect an individual’s life entirely. The most significant thing is to reflect on the best experiences so that one can overcome stress and hope for a better tomorrow.
