You have done a great job writing this valuable paper that will be a significant addition to the literature on Directed Energy Weapons. I see that you're only remaining with the final touches, and you will be good to go. Your addition to the abstract section helps one understand what your paper is all about. There are two things that I think will improve your paper:
1 You can shorten the descriptions of the list of figures in the table of contents. I don't think lengthy descriptions are necessary. You could transfer the descriptions to the actual figure in the body of the paper. Also, I think the list of figures comes after the
