The reading that stood out to me the most was “Chapter 14: Sexual Function Difficulties, Dissatisfaction, Enhancement, and Therapy,” more specifically, the “Prevalence and Cofactors” portion and the “Developing Self-Awareness.” Yarber discusses sexuality as a factor involved in developing a healthy lifestyle. From the reading, I gathered that there had been a high prevalence of difficulties, dissatisfaction, and other problems related to sex and human sexuality, and there is not enough awareness about these in many communities. Males and females are anatomically different to a degree, so they are expected to encounter different types and degrees of sex and sexuality problems.
