Be sure you answer Part One, Part Two, Part Three, and the Reference section of this assignment before submitting.
Part One: Christian Beliefs
Respond thoroughly to the prompts in this part, using total of 250-350 words combined. Use the Bible and at least one academic source (textbook, topic overview, or peer-reviewed article). Cite all of the resources used with in-text citations. Include all the sources you cite on a reference section at the end of this document.
1 Summarize Christian beliefs about the origins of the universe:
The universe and all that is there are said to have been created by God, following the Bible. Genesis 1 and 2 tell the creation myth that God made the world and everything there in six days. As the Bible states, God created the cosmos in six days in Genesis 1 and 2. Christians also have that God gave humanity sovereignty over the planet and all its animals when He created humankind in His form and likeness.

2 Summarize Genesis 1-2:
He made everything in that order: sunlight, sky, water, land, flora, animals, and people (Genesis 1:1-31). God rested on the seventh day, designating it holy (Genesis 2:1-3). Christians hold that all God made was beautiful and that He formed the universe from nothing (ex nihilo).

3 Summarize general revelation and special revelation:
General revelation, conversely, denotes God's direct contact with certain persons or groups, like in the Bible. General revelation is the belief that God discloses Himself to all humans through the natural environment. Contrarily, general revelation is the wisdom of God made accessible to people through extraterrestrial means like visions, dreams, and the Bible. For Christians, the Bible is the highest justice on reality and reveals God's nature, intentions, and plans for humankind

4 Summarize the three major Creationism approaches to Genesis 1-2:
Christian creationism often falls into one of three categories: new earth creationism, old earth creationism, or evolutionary creationism. According to young earth creationism, the six days of creation depicted in Genesis 1 were actual 24-hour days, and the earth is just 6,000–10,000 years old ("4. “young- Earth” creationism," 2019). According to old earth creationism, even though the planet is billions of years older, God made all that exists throughout six periods. Theistic evolution, another name for evolutionary creationism, claims that God orchestrated the diversity of life on earth through the development process. Theistic evolutionary biologists hold that God produced millions of years of evolution to create the universe and all life

Part Two: Current Understanding
Respond thoroughly to the prompts in this part, using total of 250-350 words combined. Use the Bible and at least one academic source (textbook, topic overview, or peer-reviewed article). Cite all of the resources used with in-text citations. Include all the sources you cite on a reference section at the end of this document.
1 My current beliefs about the origin of the universe:
The Big Bang, which occurred roughly 13.8 billion years ago, is currently thought to have been the universe's beginning based on the scientific data that is available at the moment (Netchitailo, 2020). Since then, the cosmos has already been freezing and spreading. Based on research into fossils and rock formations, radiocarbon dating, and oth...
