Statement of Purpose in Pursuing MFIN Degree

Many find the Masters in Finance program tough; However, I have always found it fascinating. Ever since I can remember, I have been curious about how finances have to power to make the world go round. For others, it might be a source of stress to tackle numbers; for me, it is a go-to stress reliever. After all, my dad was in this field himself. By observing my father closely, I broadened my mind, looked at the bigger picture, and treated every transaction correctly. Also, academics were less intriguing than understanding the world of finance: financial reporting, analytics, analysis, valuation, and so much more! It is a vast field that teaches us the value of money and how to spend it while reaping the most benefit.
My love for finance and economics led me to pursue a B.A. in Economics as my major from Rutgers University. However, my determined and hardworking personality was on the quest for more experience, and I got the chance to intern for firms like CITIC securities, Hybrid Kinetic Group Ltd., and China Rock Capital Management.
