Should We Spend More Money on Exploration or on Other Things?
After reading those articles in the attachment,
In your opinion, do you think that money should be spent on types of exploration (such as 2 articles), or should it be spent on other things?
1)Write a five-paragraph opinion essay that clearly states your opinion,
2) The first paragraph- introduction and thesis statement
3) then -3 body paragraphs:
Provide three reasons for your opinion (one main reason for each body paragraph)

Should we Spend more money on Exploration?
Exploration is perhaps one of the oldest undertakings of mankind. From the time humans set foot on the planet and until today, we humans have always sought to explore new places even outside of our own world. However, due to our consistent goal of finding new places and exploring new realms, debates have also emerged about the need for exploration and its long-term effects on everyone. On the other hand, some believe that exploration is still a necessity since it helps improve our society, both in the technological and archaeological aspects. On the other hand, however, some believe that our persistent efforts to reach new places and generate new ideas have reached a point wherein humans have caused irreversible damage. Nonetheless, I think we should still spend money on exploration rather than spending money of others.
The Necessity for Current-day Exploration
One of the reasons we need to spend more money in exploration is because it helps us learn about our past. Whether it be archaeological, biological, or geological past, developments in exploration have shed light on what happened before the time when written recordings have existed. For example, some modern-day exploratory studies have shed light on how geological processes have split up the microcontinent of Gondwana, thereby resulting in creating a ‘submerged continent’ known as Zealandia. This provides us with an insight into the development of our own planet that would have otherwise been impossible without exploration.
