“The Time Travelers” was educative to me. The story of Ada and Babbage is very interesting. Many people, myself included, have always thought that programming was the result of computer invention. However, from reading this text, I now understand that almost 100 years prior to the invention of the computer, there were individuals shedding light on the possibility of programmable devices. Ada and Babbage’s story is not just interesting. It shows what humans are capable of even when they are limited by current resources. What caught my attention is how Ada and Babbage’s work was so centered around numbers. It is almost as if they knew that numbers would also be used in future programming.
