Self statement

My resolution to pursue a career in nursing has ever been so strong in my life. From the very onset of my teenage life my interest in health care was very evident amongst my peers and classmates through elementary school to high school and my interest in practicing as a professional nurse has always been on an upward spiral. This can be supported by my interest in sciences and participation in various programs that aim at providing basic health care to people in need of it in various in the community. As a genuinely caring individual with an insatiable interest in science and putting patients` needs at the forefront I believe that I am well positioned and psychologically prepared to be a professional nurse. Putting patients` needs first and having a solid caring plan for them is the core value of nursing. Modern nursing entails not only taking good care of the patient, but effectively administering a caring plan while tracking the progress, recording important statistics and ministering medication as prescribed by physician and monitoring the diet of the patient. These are values and responsibilities that I deeply share and aware of and my knowledge in them prepares me to play and carry out the primary roles of a nurse. I realized my passion ...
