First and foremost, I find Richard Buchanan’s masterpiece increasingly unique as it is a 20th-century reading. Still, the author highlights the subsequent potential undertakings in the design sector before others. These comprise value-sensitive and transition designs. I learned that design must be regarded as the emergent technological culture’s liberal art since it can serve as a combination of disciplines. This as well makes it the perfect discipline to resolve wicked challenges. Buchanan’s four design areas can be considered separate, though, more intriguingly, the author recommends that we can acknowledge them as intervention places that all designers share.
