Cooperative Multinational/Global Response on Environmental Issues

If I controlled the United Nations and could create a cooperative multinational or global response to environmental issues, I would develop policies that would mandate nations to have country-specific or region-specific programs to mitigate the impacts of environmental challenges. The measures are primarily intended to promote local actions and ensure that all members of the society can participate in addressing environmental challenges. As we have seen over the years, environmental issues pose numerous threats to human life and biodiversity. Therefore, it is essential to create incentives that can have a holistic perspective of the local challenges and work towards addressing these issues at a micro-level.
