Enculturation is the process by which individuals learn the values of their surrounding culture that are regarded to be necessary and appropriate behaviors.
Culturally competent is having enough knowledge and skills about a particular culture that will enable an individual to conduct themselves in a manner that responds to the beliefs of the culture.
Cultural relativism is the view that all customs, beliefs and ethics of a particular culture are relative to the individuals within their own social contexts.
Ethnocentrism is the evaluation of cultures based on their values and standards.
Micro-Aggressive Behavior is the everyday verbal, nonverbal insults that hostile or negative messages to certain people based on their ethnic groups.
