Solar energy stands out as the most available form of sustainable energy; this is especially in the tropics where the sun shines in abundance. Solar panels are connected to tap the rays from the sun and it is then transformed to energy that can be used in lighting, cooking, or running light electrical devices (Thomas, 48). This paper critically reviews solar energy giving its pros and cons.
The pros of solar energy are that it has no pollution to the atmosphere; this is a significant role in the world as pollution is a major cause of global warming.
