During my childhood, the question of what one wanted to do with their life came from all quarters including relatives, peers, teachers and older family friends. For most children, the answers were varied as they grew up or encountered someone new in r life. In my case I always wanted to be in the teaching profession. Even though, at times it seemed that I would change my mind I resolved with my passion, my love for teaching grew over time. With teaching being a competitive profession I resolved to study hard and attain the necessary skills, in any case experience enriches knowledge (Stremba & Bison 112).
Without teachers, virtually all people would not have promising careers, and the role of teachers cannot be overemphasized. With this in mind, my greatest inspiration is my former teacher, Mr. John who taught us English in high school. He dropped out of high school in his final year. After three years he went back, attained a high school diploma and later enrolled in a community college. Constant positive reviews from fellow students show that any thing is achievable as long as we focus our efforts. Mr. John inspired me and as presided over the debate club during my final year in high school.
There is no doubt that my high school experience reaffirmed my commitment towards being a teacher. Consequently, I passed well in my high school level exams, and not only am I a good student, but I also believe that I am a good teacher.
